David Kovář

He studied clarinet at Pilsen Conservatory in Jindřich Pavliš´s class. In addition to his studies, he devoted himself to composition and arrangement, worked with a big band, a brass band and chamber school ensembles. He composed a number
of compositions for these ensembles, such as One Short Piece, Ballad for Flugelhorn and Big Band, Holiday Pomade, Miniatures for Wind Trio, Five Pieces
for Alto and Tenor Saxophone, Bassoon, and Harp, etc.

After his graduation from Pilsen Conservatory, he attended The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague for 1.5 years. He has participated in many concerts both in the Czech Republic as well as abroad (Limoges, Puy du fou, Rome, Korcula, San Sebastian). He performed in a theatre play Liar, which was a part of the Theater Summer under the Pilsen Sky festival.

At present, he is a member of DJKT Operetta and Musical Orchestra in Pilsen, he works with Třískáč band, he plays with Crimson Town Players band, he cooperates with Zdeněk Lahoda (Studio Kancl, Dubnička – Lahoda Revival Cabaret), and devotes himself to composition, arranging and recording.
